Description

This Standard Reference Material (SRM) 2777 is a naturally weathered Gulf of Mexico crude oil that is diluted in toluene. NIST-2777 is intended for use in evaluating analytical methods for the determination of polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbons (PAHs) in weathered crude oil matrices. All the constituents for which certified and reference values are provided are naturally present in the weathered oil. A unit of NIST-2777 consists of five ampoules, each containing approximately 1,2 mL of crude oil solution. /// Sample value(s) - please ask for current certificate.

National Institute of Standards and Technology

NIST provides over 1300 Standard Reference Materials® as well as articles and practice guides describing the development, analysis and use of SRMs.

NIST Standard Reference Materials are used by analytical laboratories in industry, academia and government in order to facilitate commerce and trade and to advance research and development. The SRMs are produced by the engineering laboratory, the material measurement laboratory, and the physical measurement laboratory at NIST. They are available for chemical composition, physical properties, and engineering materials.
