National Institute of Standards and Technology Standard Reference Materials
NIST SRMs™: known and trusted for accuracy and comparability of measurements
NIST Standard Reference Materials® have well-characterized composition and/or properties, and are used to
- help develop and verify accurate analysis methods
- calibrate measurement systems
- provide quality control benchmarks
- determine performance characteristics
NIST provides over 1300 Standard Reference Materials® as well as articles and practice guides describing the development, analysis and use of SRMs.
NIST SRMs are issued with an SRM certificate or certificate of analysis (COA), and where applicable, a Materials Safety Data Sheet (MSDS).
As our customer, you can be assured of our help with importation, customs clearance and delivery from the US. You’ll also gain access to our excellent, personal customer and scientific support.
NIST Standard Reference Materials are used by analytical laboratories in industry, academia and government in order to facilitate commerce and trade and to advance research and development. The SRMs are produced by the engineering laboratory, the material measurement laboratory, and the physical measurement laboratory at NIST. They are available for chemical composition, physical properties, and engineering materials.
NIST SRMs support accurate and compatible measurements. Let us help you find and source the NIST standard reference materials you need.
