Description
Application Notes: 9-Anthryldiazomethane (ADAM) is a fluorescent diazomethane analog used to identify bile acids, amino acids, fatty acids, steroid acids, and prostaglandins. In addition, derivatives of 9-Anthryldiazomethane can be detected using liquid chromatography-mass spectrometry. Furthermore, the fluorescence of these analogs can be detected at 254nm and 412 nm. Alternate studies indicate that 9-Anthryldiazomethane can be used to identify prostaglandins in plasma assays using HPLC. /// References: 1. Kurosawa, M., et al. 1990. Ann Allergy. 64: 464-470.
