Description

Amyloid beta peptides have been implicated in the etiology of Alzheimer's disease. Amyloid beta 40 is the most prominent peptide and Amyloid beta 42 is the neurotoxic form. The Amyloid beta 42/40-ratio (AB ratio) has been reported as a better indicator of the Alzheimer pathology. Millipore's High Sensitivity Human Amyloid beta42 ELISA kit is used for the measurement of Amyloid beta42 in cerebrospinal fluid, cell culture supernatants, primary neurons and plasma in a 96-well format.
