Description
Material Description The material BAM-U022 is a freshwat er sediment sampled from canal Finowkanal, near the city of Ebersw alde, Germany. The contamination with mineral oils originates from inland wa ter transportation over many decades. After drying, sieving and homogeni sation, the frac tion < 125 µm was subdivided into units of 38 g which were filled in brown gla ss bottles with screw caps equipped with PTFE-inserts and sealed with shrinking foil. The material is stored at Labmix24 at -20 °C until dispatch. Details on the preparation and characterisation procedure are specif ied in the certification report.
