Application Notes: 9-Mesityl-10-methylacridinium Tetrafluoroborate can be used for the synthesis of gamma-butyrolactones, gamma-lactams and pyrrolidines. 9-Mesityl-10-methylacridinium Tetrafluoroborate has been reported by Nicewicz et al. to mediate myriad transformations through Photoredox Catalysis.
