Application Note: 3-(Acetyloxy)hexanedioic Acid is an intermediate used in the synthesis of 3-Hydroxyhexanedioic Acid (H943100), which gets excreted in increased amounts in the human urine under conditions of medium-chain triglyceride (MCT) feeding, abnormal fatty acid oxidation (FAO) and fasting.
