The purification kit contains IPAK Meta(R) and IPAK Quanta(R) cartridges, which are designed to work as a pair to produce highest-quality ultrapure water. IPAK Meta(R) cartridge combines Jetpore(R) mixed-bed ion-exchange resin and innovative IQnano(R) ion-exchange media to remove trace ions from purified water.IPAK Quanta(R) cartridge contains activated carbon and IQnano(R) ion-exchange media to target traces of organic contaminants once they have been oxidized by the system's photooxidation lamp. The small bead size of IQnano(R) media significantly improves kinetic properties while dramatically reducing media volume. This allows for purification cartridges that are 33% smaller than former cartridges. For use in Milli-Q(R) IQ 7000 and Milli-Q(R) EQ 7000 water purification systems.
