Description

Human MCP-1 is a chemokine assoscited with the attraction of Monocytes and Basophils to the site of a pathology. It has been implicated in the pathogenesis of diseases characterized by monocytic infiltrates, like psoriasis, rheumatoid arthritis and atherosclerosis. In particilar this is a marker of inflammatory disorders. It binds to chemokine receptors CCR2 and CCR4.This is a 96 well format sandwich ELISA which uses our Conferma(R) process to ensure a high degree of lot to lot consistency. The process involves the physiochemical characterization of the ELISAs critical reagents lot to lot, with finished kits being evaluated using a sample library to bridge between lots.
