Description
Polyamine that plays an important role in the regulation of cellular proliferation and differentiation. Acts as an inhibitor of phopholipase C-alpha and an activator of phopholipase C-delta. Has both stimulatory and inhibitory effects on NMDA receptors depending on the subunit composition of the receptor. Inhibits neuronal NOS.
