Description
A DNA gyrase inhibitor that can be used for the production of positively supercoiled plasma DNA. Targets the nucleotide-binding site of gyrase B. Exhibits antibacterial properties. Inhibits retrovirus RNA-dependent DNA polymerases. Inhibits LPS-induced production of pro-inflammatory cytokines. Reported to act as a potent inhibitor of ADP ribosylation. Also inhibits protein synthesis and alters the phosphorylation state of several cytosolic proteins., DNA gyrase inhibitor used for the production of positively supercoiled plasma DNA. Inhibits retrovirus RNA-dependent DNA polymerases. Also a potent inhibitor of ADP ribosylation eliminates the wild-type pMG110 plasmid from E. coli.
