An estrogenic flavanoid with anti-tumor and anti-parasitic properties. Shown to reduce Bcl-2 protein expression and induce apoptosis in several human cancer cell lines. Also induces cell differentiation and enhances the effect of paclitaxel and vinblastine chemotherapy.
