A 13-residue, cell-permeable peptide that acts as a potent and selective inhibitor of mammalian heat-shock protein (Hsp25) kinase [also called mitogen-activated protein kinase-activated protein kinase-2 (MAPKAP kinase-2)]. Inhibition is competitive with respect to the substrate peptide (Ki = 8.1 µ,M) and non-competitive with respect to ATP (Ki = 134 µ,M)., A 13-residue, cell-permeable peptide that acts as a potent and selective inhibitor of mammalian heat-shock protein (Hsp25) kinase.
