Description
Non-ionic detergent composed of a mixture of alkyl glucosides. Like n-octyl-beta-D-glucopyranoside and TRITON(TM) X-100, it is useful for solubilization and purification of membrane-bound proteins. Relatively low cost alternative to n-octyl-beta-D-glucopyranoside and n-octyl-beta-D-maltoside in large scale solubilizations.
