Description
Reacts with primary amines to biotinylate proteins under mild conditions. Since it is water-soluble, this compound can be used to biotinylate cell-surface proteins and proteins that are sensitive to organic solvents., Water-soluble form of biotin-NHS. Water solubility is extremely convenient, eliminating the need to dissolve the reagent in an organic solvent such as dimethylformamide (DMF) and dimethylsulfoxide (DMSO) prior to use.
