Description

A cell-permeable flavone that inhibits the activity of 12-lipoxygenase (IC50 = 120 nM) and reverse transcriptase. Reduces leukotriene biosynthesis and the release of lysosomal enzymes. Also inhibits cellular Ca2+ uptake and mobilization, and adjuvant-induces arthritis. Potentiates contractile responses to nerve stimulation.
