Description

Bovine serum albumin (BSA) is an ?-helical, non-glycosylated globular protein with 17-disulfide bonds., Albumin, Bovine Serum, Fraction V, RIA and ELISA Grade is a purified plasma protein that is useful as a stabilizing agent and as a carrier protein. It is prepared under non-denaturing conditions by modification of the Cohn procedure and caprylic acid heat-shock treatment. It has a pH of 6.8-7.4 at 10% in 150 mM NaCl.
