Description
Application field(s): Clinical, Other, COVID-19 /// ACE2-1 is a protein reference material (RM) that serves as a source of angiotensin-converting enzyme 2 (ACE2) receptor for use in coronavirus spike protein binding assays, and for evaluating antibody mediated inhibition of the receptor-spike interaction. The ACE2 protein in ACE2-1 is biotinylated to facilitate protein immobilization and/or affinity pull-down purifications. Reference values for the molar concentration, mass fraction, and mass concentration of human ACE2 protein in ACE2-1 have been established, as listed below. Information values for the size heterogeneity of human ACE2 protein in ACE2-1 are provided in Table 2. A unit of ACE2-1 contains 50 µL of human ACE2 in Dulbeccos phosphate buffered saline.
