Description
European Reference Material ERM® -AD149 was originally certified as BCR-149S. It was produced and certified under the responsibility of the IRMM according to the principles laid down in the technical guidelines of the European Reference Materials® co-operation agreement between BAM-IRMM-LGC. The reference material AD149 was measured against RBT/90. Coagulation times of normal and patient plasmas measured with both thromboplastins were compared. A linear relationship was established between the logarithms of the values obtained for the coagulation times/s in both systems.
