Bureau of Analysed Samples Ltd. Certified Reference Materials
CRMs for Chemical and Spectroscopic Analysis
BAS was formed in the UK in 1935 and have been providing certified reference materials to the iron and steel industry for over 80 years.
BAS’s portfolio includes CRMs as chip and powder samples suitable for chemical analysis in a range of plain carbon and alloyed steels, cast irons, ferro-alloys, non-ferrous alloys, ores, slags and ceramic materials.
BAS also provides CRMs as solid (disk or block) samples suitable for use in optical emission (OES) and X-ray fluorescence (XRF) spectrometry. The range includes plain carbon, low alloy and highly alloyed steels, cast irons, and some non-ferrous alloys. Setting-up Samples of steel and cast iron are also offered.
A range of non-certified reference materials (RMs) are available for chemical and spectroscopic analysis e.g. high purity metals and ceramic materials, low alloy cast irons, high chromium irons, nickel chromium irons and austenitic (Ni-resist) irons and copper base alloys.
As our customer, we handle importation and customs clearance to the EU from the UK for you. You also gain access to our excellent, personal customer and scientific support.
Let us help you find and source the BAS reference materials you need.
