Milliflex(R) Agar (SDA) is designed as a ready to use agar-based media for convenient, rapid, and reliable bioburden testing. The prefilled agar cassette helps to streamline the microbial contamination testing workflow with quality assurance and avoiding risks of exogenous contamination. Each plate is a 3-piece assembly containing approximately 10ml of the media.Sabouraud Dextrose Agar (SDA) is a nutrient rich medium containing digests of animal tissues (peptones) which provides amino acids and nitrogen for the growth of fungi and yeasts. The low pH of the media favors fungal growth.
