A cell-permeable, N-myristoylated G-protein betagamma selective binding peptide that disrupts the interaction between alpha and betagamma subunits and promotes alpha subunit dissociation without stimulating nucleotide exchange. Reported to cause a rapid activation of ERK1/2 (EC50 ~2.5-5 µ,M) in RASM (rat arterial smooth muscle) and Rat2 cells. Promotes the phosphorylation of JNK and p38 MAP kinase.
