Induces mammary gland proliferation in mice. Inhibits lecithin peroxidation induced by hydroxyl radicals. Also acts as a selective inhibitor of gamma-isoform of alcohol dehydrogenase., A phytoestrogenic isoflavone found in soy-based foods.
