Inhibits the in situ dephosphorylation of autophosphorylated insulin receptors with over 1000-fold greater potency than sodium orthovanadate. Arrests proliferation of neuroblastoma NB 41 and glioma C6 cells at the G2/M transition of the cell cycle.
