Application Notes: 2,3-Dibromo-1-propan-1,1,2,3,3-d5-ol is a labelled analogue of 2,3-Dibromo-1-propanol (D425522), which is a metabolite of the flame retardant tris(2,3-dibromopropyl) phosphate (T775560), previously shown to be a mutagen and carcinogen in experimental animals. It is also an intermediate in synthesizing Bis(2,3-dibromopropyl) Phosphate-d10 (B426237), which an isotope labelled analog of Bis(2,3-dibromopropyl) Phosphate.
