Application Note: (2S,3R,4S,5S,6R)-2-(((1S,2S,3R,4S,6R)-2-Acetoxy-3-(((2R,3R,5S,6R)-5-acetoxy-3-azido-6-(((tert-butoxycarbonyl)amino)methyl)tetrahydro-2H-pyran-2-yl)oxy)-4,6-diazidocyclohexyl)oxy)-6-(acetoxymethyl)-4-azidotetrahydro-2H-pyran-3,5-diyl Diacetate is an intermediate used in the synthesis of O-3-Amino-3-deoxy-alpha-D-glucopyranosyl-(1?6)-O-[2,6-diamino-2,3,4,6-tetradeoxy-alpha-D-glycero-hex-4-enopyranosyl-(1?4)]-2-deoxy-D-streptamine (A604395), which is an impurity of Tobramycin (T524000), a single factor antibiotic comprising about 10% of nebramycin, the aminoglycosidic antibiotic complex produced by Streptomyces tenebrarius.
