Milliflex(R) Agar (TSA) is designed as a ready to use agar-based media for convenient, rapid, and reliable bioburden testing. The prefilled agar cassette helps to streamline the microbial contamination testing workflow with quality assurance and avoiding risks of exogenous contamination. Each plate is a 3-piece assembly containing approximately 10ml of the media. Tryptic Soy Agar is a nutrient rich medium for the cultivation and isolation of a wide range of bacteria, yeasts, and molds. The synergistic presence of casein and soymeal peptones supply organic nitrogen, particularly amino acids, and longer-chained peptides. Sodium chloride in the medium maintains the osmotic equilibrium.
