A chemically modified trypsin that is resistant to autolysis and degradation. Trypsin specifically hydrolyzes amides, peptides and proteins at the C-terminus side of arginine and lysine residues. This mass spectrometry grade trypsin is methylated, TPCK treated, and affinity purified.
