"Tryptic Soy Contact Agar with Cephase + LT - ICR+ is designed for the determination of the total microbial aerobic and anaerobic count on dry, sanitized surfaces and personnel in Clean rooms and Isolators. It is a complex medium for cultivation and isolation of a wide range of bacteria, yeasts and molds. The formulation of the Soybean Casein-Digest medium contains combination of casein and soy peptones supplying organic nitrogen, particularly amino acids and longer-chained peptides. The medium contains Cephase to inactivate a broad range of beta lactam-antibiotics and is supplemented with the two neutralizers lecithin and polysorbate (Tween(R)) 80, to inactivate possible residues of disinfectants on dry surfaces. In addition, the ICRplus (plus or ""+"") plates are supplied with a lockable lid for safe transport after sampling without the risk of losing the lid.
